You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

MiIdvêr fredag fukta snøoverflata opp mot 1000 moh. Over mildvêrsgrensa blåste nysnøen inn i nordvendte leformasjonar. Under denne høgda er snøen våt og delvis smelteomdanna. Høgare til fjells er ryggar og fjelltoppar avblåst. Det ligg mest fokksnø i leheng mot nord og aust. Det er lite snø for årstida, og under tregrensa er det lite snø.

Vedvarande svakt lag frå kuldeperioda i januar/februar kan framleis vere eit problem nokre stedar over 1300 moh.

6-10 mm precipitation. Strong breeze from south, changing to fresh breeze from the southwest during the afternoon. -9 °C to -1 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Litt påfyll av snø og vind frå sør dannar fokksnøflak i nordvendte leheng der ein skiløpar kan løyse ut skred. Eldre fokksnø er truleg vansklegare å påvirke.

Høgt til fjells kan det finnes svake lag av kantkorn djupt i snødekket i enkelte heng.
